Description

▪︎ The Montesdeoca cheese factory opens its doors to invite you to know its philosophy and reveal some secrets that have earned it to achieve its great success: 41 international and 21 island awards and the gold medal in 2018 awarded by the World Cheese Award. The activity lasts approximately 60 minutes and is usually carried out early morning in line with the life of working in the field. The tour will start on the rooftop where you will have an overview of almost thousand units that make up the farm's livestock, while you will learn about the history and origin of the Canarian goat and its cado.

▪︎ The guide will then take you through the production area and the milking area, to assist, step by step, in the production of these wonderful cheeses by the best teachers. Furthermore, you will observe the daily work, from animal feeding to the milking phase.

▪︎ During the tour of the facilities, you will be able to familiarize yourself with the different flavors and textures of some of the most awarded products of the cheese factory. The visit closes with the projection of an educational audiovisual and with a fun blind tasting where the newly acquired knowledge is put to the test.
