Duration: full day ⎜ Distance: aprox 32 km
A route through steep valleys to discover wild black sandy beaches.

 ITINERARY >

MORNING
Start the day by visiting Anaga Rural Park and take a swim in Benijo, one of the best beaches in Tenerife. The road to get there is quite simply spectacular! The area has many fish restaurants, but we will suggest two that are a little less touristy and better known among the locals. Casa Paca, is a very rural place, just like the owner ;-), in which to enjoy some amazing homemade dishes. However, for a little finer palates, La Ola is a much more suitable option, with its Mediterranean dishes and fresh market produce.

AFTERNOON
•
After lunch, we offer you a little exercise on the Sendero de los Sentidos, a short walk, suitable especially if you travel with children, where you can see one of the best samples of laurel forest on the island. On the way back, it is advisable to stop at the Mirador de Jardina, where on clear days you can even see Teide.

EVENING
•
Continue to La Laguna, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This stately city embodies the American colonial spirit, with wide pedestrian streets framed by century-old buildings. Although it can be cold at times compared to the rest of the island, there is always a lively atmosphere on the terraces in the center of town. You can let yourself be carried away by your instinct or try one of our two suggestions for dinner: El Tocuyo, a snack place, famous for its “vino con vino” (wine with wine) and the shells of peanuts on the floor, or Tasca de Cristian, probably the best meat place in the city.
