A Canarian food house in the middle of the Rural Park of Teno

The hamlet of Teno Alto has just over 80 inhabitants and a handful of places to eat, if we count the "ventita" of the village (a canarian-style kiosk) and the bar of the main square. We recommend La Pi–ata for its views and good service, and of course, for its menu: "ropa vieja" (shredded beef served with chickpeas and potatoes), escald—n (a gofio based dish), goat meat, watercress stew and of course the tender cheese of Teno, the specialty of the region. Homemade food, simple but tasty, at very affordable prices and ideal to share as you can order half portions of most tapas.
